For 1 fantastic week, my friend Walker and a group including his old New Mexico friend Mike, Mike's brother and several friends met on the Green River. When we arrived in Salt Lake City, the weather was pretty bad. We got word from Mike that the pass to Dutch John was closed due to snow. When we reached the campground, there was at least a foot of snow on the ground. The fishing was great and the temps slowly warmed during the week. By mid-week we had 80s and cloudless skies. The fish were everywhere! We got into a Blue Wing Olive hatch in the snow on the first day and had some luck with Cicadas and ants later in the week. Here is my blog entry on the trip: http://eclecticguy.com/2007/05/14/the-great-green-river-utah-expedition-of-2007/
